2012

Aviation Parts & Trade Corp (APTC) was founded in 2012 by Carlos E. Ulloa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with a clear vision: to support aviation operators with reliable aircraft parts and disciplined procurement services in an increasingly global market.

From its inception, APTC was built to serve international clients requiring responsive support, trusted sourcing, and accountability across borders. What began as a focused aviation supply operation has since evolved into a broader aerospace and industrial support organization—expanding capabilities, strengthening partnerships, and adapting to the growing complexity of customer requirements.

2015

Aircraft Teardown & Asset Management
As part of its continued expansion in aircraft asset support, APTC successfully purchased and completed the teardown of a Boeing 757 passenger aircraft formerly operated by a major U.S. airline. The aircraft was dismantled for spare parts, enabling APTC to support operators and MROs with serviceable components while strengthening its capabilities in aircraft disassembly, parts recovery, and inventory management.

This milestone marked APTC’s evolution beyond parts sourcing into full aircraft asset lifecycle support, including teardown planning, component harvesting, and controlled redistribution of aircraft materials.

2016

In 2016, APTC received its Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) certification, formally expanding its focus to support U.S. federal agencies and defense-related programs. This milestone reinforced APTC’s commitment to compliance, accountability, and service in highly regulated environments.

2025

QUALITY & MANUFACTURING EXPANSION

APTC achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification and FAA-0056B quality standards, formalizing its commitment to disciplined processes, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction across all operations.

That same year, APTC expanded its internal capabilities through the acquisition of CDK Engineering, a U.S.-based precision machining company. This milestone marked a strategic move into domestic manufacturing—strengthening APTC’s ability to support aerospace, defense, and industrial customers with precision-machined components and controlled production capabilities.

2026

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION

In 2026, APTC expanded its international footprint with the opening of a new office in Uganda. This expansion enhanced the company’s ability to support customers and partners across Africa and select global markets, reinforcing APTC’s long-term vision of providing responsive, regionally supported supply-chain and program solutions.
